Fast, friendly, and the food is amazing. It really is an incredible deal for a whole chicken and two sides. I have to side with Carolyn S. The coleslaw is awesome. I also make sure I get an order of yuca and an order of platanos. I love Peruvian Country Chicken!

We tried to make an order for lunch, the phones were answered by people who claim they don't speak English, and that we should speak Spanish. End result was we ordered elsewhere.

THE WORST PERUVIAN CHICKEN MEAL EVER! NO exaggeration: 1. I placed an order on grubhub and asked for substitution in the meal and instead got charged an additional amount. 2. they took forever to deliver (almost 2 hours)- keep in mind delivery costs $5. 3. the chicken and fries were stale (NOT Peruvian chicken). The plantains, chard/burned on the outside, raw inside, smelled like old oil had been used. 4. The portion size was small (keep in mind i paid $31+ for a whole chicken and 3 orders of plantains). Grubhub tried to rectify the situation (by amending the price adjustment) but all in all It was HORRIBLE. Stay away from this place. It is NOT WORTH ANYTHING (time, money, energy, hungry... etc- i could keep going) I wish i could give them no stars :(

The pollo is on point. Fingerlickin good and the price is right. I've never seen a crowd at Kenny's but then again I go at offpeak times. So not sure what that means. It hits the pollo spot.

Wanted to try Peruvian chicken for the first time. It was ok, but they advertise that they cook fresh chicken every 40 minutes until 8:30 P.M. and that was not the case when I went The coal oven looked like it had been out for hrs and the place itself is quite grimey. Did not want to try any of their side dishes after looking at their prep area.

Love that they deliver 3-4 miles away via Foodler. Peurvian chicken is always awesome and this was no exception! Two sour notes: online ordering doesn't allow multiple orders of the same side if you opt for a full chicken with eight sides. Also, they swapped one of our sides with something else.

GREAT take-home place for chicken and side dishes! This is my go-to favorite in Four Corners. Chicken is well spiced and JUICEY! Coleslaw is deelish --I always order two. The beans are truly beautiful orbs of goodness. Best beans I've had in the area. And the rice is perfectly steamed with butter. Prices are incredible. You can get a whole chicken and four sides for under $20. Especially handy for an impromptu take-home dinner with friends. Used to be known as Kenny's, but new owners (about a year ago) changed the name and upgraded the food and the atmosphere. Don't plan to eat-in unless you love red-checked everything. Best to take home hot delicious food you're happy to serve at your place. Really lovely couple own the place now. I'm so happy it's in my neighborhood.

Great place, good food. The service is wonderful! I eat here at least once a week. The Peruvian Chicken is my favorite.

Great chicken. The new owners have done a great job improving the recipe. Chicken moist and flavorful.

It is a sad sad day in my life. My beloved empanadas have been changed. I'm sure people will like them still, but the original was perfect and I can't betray its memory. Scratch this place off the list.

This place is right around the corner from my house. The chicken is tasty and the service is reasonably quick. Good if you are hungry and either don't feel like cooking or just feel the need for bird. Sides are pretty standard but still great.

Chicken was soggy and salty. Coleslaw was more like slaw soup and had a bad taste. Sauses were watery. Fries weren't too bad and service was good.

Though there are tables, this is not a place for dining in. The 4th star is for the food. Excellent chicken, ditto the plaintains, mac n cheese, cole slaw. We'd spur of moment decided to picnic before biking a nearby trail. Service was friendly, fast, and the price is right. Took it to a table next to the trail for a terrific Saturday pic nic. We live nearby and will definitely return when we want Peruvian chicken.

The looks of the restaurant may not be the best, but the food is delicious! They service is very friendly and the owners are really nice to talk to. I recommend anyone who likes authentic Peruvian food to eat here!

Everybody needs a good chicken place, right? This is mine! Succulent, flavorful chicken with sides of plantains and black beans & rice (both better than the yucca fries) equals a helluva takeout meal. Can't eat here as often as I'd like, since I'd rather not clog an artery, but Kenny's is definitely a fabulous guilty pleasure. There's a few seats inside, but I've never had any desire to eat in, and I rarely see anyone else choosing to do so either. I don't really even love being inside just waiting for my food, but once I get the stuff home and on a plate, life is friggin' sweet.

I was hoping this place would be good but I was disappointed. The chicken was really greasy and the fried yuca was hardly golden brown (I'm super picky about fried yuca and these just weren't cutting it). The only reason i gave them two stars was because they're delivery was timely unlike other carry outs in silver spring. The point is there are WAY better places in the area with peruvian chicken, not to mention cheaper, so do yourself a favor and skip out on this place!

I'll start by saying the food is decent and this is the second and definitely the last time I'll order. The estimate on delivery was an hour after I ordered which is not a problem. The driver called me about 15 minutes past the hour and told me to come down because he was in front of my building. I came down and no one was there. I call the driver back, no answer. I call the restaurant, they say they will call the driver then call me back. 15 minutes later, I received no call so I call the driver, no answer. I call the restaurant, they say 15 minutes. Were they ever going to tell me or just have me wait in my apartment lobby? I don't know. So with that news, I head back up to my 8th floor apartment. 30 minutes pass. I receive a phone call from the driver, he is out front. If you're playing along at home, that's 1:45 minutes and 32 floors. Apparently, the driver got lost, went back to the restaurant and then the manager went out and did my deliver. Poor way to run a business. Poor customer service. Worse part, I pre-paid the tip and they charge an additional $5.00 deliver charge. Bunch of bums.

We ordered take-out from here with friends who get take out here all the time (and love it). The kids (ages 4, 5 & 9) all loved the chicken and one kid ADORED that garlic mayo (aoili). Fried plantains were tasty - but I've had better. They were a bit firm for Maduros. Also big thick fries - very nice. And creamy coleslaw. A good take-out option for families with kids.

With all the great Peruvian chicken places close by, don't bother with this one.

Chicken was not cooked fresh, and was a little greasy. Beans were so hot I could barely eat them until the end of the meal, and they weren't particularly flavorful. I asked for a cup of water and they charged me for a bottle. All and all a very mediocre experience. Will not be back.

Literal hole in the wall. So much so I was afraid to go in. The place is small and kinda dirty...but the chicken more than makes up for the lack of ambiance. Plus they have mexican coke...just saying.

Ownership has changed hands again and based on my experience the change has been positive. Chicken was moist and hot with a good flavor and sides were adequate, I had yucca and cole slaw. New ownership is friendlier than the last group, we'll see how long they last the location seems to be a little difficult. A long time ago this place used to be a diner run by a very nice Greek man and his family who cooked great breakfast and diner food which is why the ordering area has the built up counter...place would be packed every weekend in the morning. Nothing against Kenny's but I kind of wish that place was still around, the four corners area could use something like that.
